Theology & Worship

If you are wondering about what membership at Creede Community Church means or wish to know more about taking that step, please see Pastor Sarah or Rhonda Brown,

chair of the Diaconate.

We encourage and welcome you to commit yourself to this faith community through membership!

The Creede Community Church tends to be quite diverse theologically. Only a few of our members were raised in the United Church of Christ, with others coming from many faith traditions. Many of our seasonal attendees are Associate Members, retaining membership elsewhere while considering CCC their second home.

Year-round Creede Community Church worship is 11:00 am, with Early Bird worship at 8:00 am from mid-June through mid-August. We serve open Communion on the second Sunday of each month. In worship, we use "The Worshiping Church" hymnal and the New International Version bible.

Sunday school takes place during the 11am worship time for ages 3 – 12. Children go to Sunday school during the greeting time in the worship service.

We are a United Church of Christ congregation and a member of UCC's Rocky Mountain Conference. Our immediate region within the Rocky Mountain Conference is called the Southeastern Association.

Through the freedom of our congregational tradition and the “extravagant hospitality” for which the UCC is known, we seek to embody that spirit for all who visit. Whether you are a year-rounder, seasonal, or one-time visitor to God’s country, consider yourself invited! May you join us in worship and fellowship that is vital, meaningful, and grace-filled – where all may experience the power and presence of Christ.
